All of the Lesedi students are included in our Sponsorship Program. Without sponsorship, children in rural areas of Zimbabwe are often absent from school – or drop out early. Sponsorship gives each child confidence in their schooling, knowing that they have a precious opportunity to create a better future for themselves and their families.
Income from sponsorship not only helps us to fund delivery of the formal curriculum, but also vocational skill building and digital literacy training. In addition, we provide two school meals a day for all our students, ensuring they aren’t learning on an empty stomach. With an on-site medical clinic, the students also receive ongoing healthcare and support.
Help to change the course of a child’s life by sponsoring one of our Lesedi learners. Child sponsorship costs a minimum of US$35 per month / US$420 a year and your donations are tax deductible in the USA. Each child is matched with just one sponsor, so you can build a special relationship with your sponsored child.
The actual cost of educating, nurturing and feeding each child is double the minimum sponsorship amount. Please consider adding a "Sponsorship top-up" to your donation. Extra funds will keep the essential food program running and cover other vital school running costs. Thank you!
